1. How do I use the camera?
You can get started quickly by following the steps below:
- Connect the device: Plug the camera's USB connector directly into your computer's USB port.
- Open the application: Launch the application you want to use (such as the system camera or video conferencing software). In the device selection list, switch to this camera. Once the camera starts outputting video normally, the indicator light will turn solid blue.
Note: The product features a driver-free design. Simply plug it into your computer and start using it — no additional drivers are required.
2. What mounting options are supported?
Two convenient mounting options are supported:
Monitor Mount
Use the built-in clip to securely attach the camera to the top of your monitor or laptop screen.
Tripod Mount
The bottom of the camera features a 1/4-inch threaded hole, allowing it to be mounted on a standard tripod or universal stand.
3. What are the maximum resolution and frame rate?
The maximum resolution is 4K (3840 × 2160) at up to 30 frames per second (fps). It also supports 1080p (1920 × 1080) at up to 60 fps, so you can choose the best setting for different scenarios such as meetings and live streaming.
4. What is the field of view (FOV)? Does it support manual zoom?
The FOV can be adjusted through EMEET STUDIO.
Differences: The C960 Ultra has a maximum FOV of 73° (factory default 73°); the C960 UltraX has a maximum FOV of 76.6° (factory default 76.6°).
Note: In 4K mode, the FOV cannot be adjusted and remains at the model's factory default FOV.
5. What is the HDR feature on the C960 UltraX, and how do I use it?
HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging balances overexposed highlights and dark shadows to restore more tonal detail, delivering better image quality in backlit environments or scenes with strong light contrast.
Download the companion software EMEET STUDIO to turn HDR on or off freely in the app.
Note: HDR is not compatible with 60 fps mode — switch to 30 fps to use it. The C960 Ultra model does not support HDR.
6. Is companion software provided for configuring and adjusting advanced parameters?
Yes. Companion software is available — download EMEET STUDIO from the official website to easily adjust image parameters and configure other advanced settings.
7. How do I use privacy mode?
Manually rotate the privacy switch on the camera body to turn privacy mode on or off.
8. Does it have a built-in microphone?
Two built-in HD microphones provide clear audio pickup for video meetings, live streaming interactions, and other audio needs — no external microphone is required.
