EMEET PIXY

World's First Dual-Camera AI PTZ 4K Webcam

How to update the firmware?

If a firmware update is available, you’ll see a pop-up prompt. You can also go to the top right corner > Settings > Management > click the icon on the right > select “Update” to complete the firmware update.

How to download and update the software?

Step 1: Download EMEET STUDIO from the EMEET website

STEP 2: Open EMEET STUDIO. After connecting your device, a pop-up on the home page will prompt "Firmware Update." Click "Confirm" to go to the upgrade page, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update. (Do not unplug the device or shut down your computer during the update.)

Is it necessary to install dedicated software to access all features?

The core functions can be used without EMEET STUDIO; however, certain advanced features and settings—such as disabling gesture control or adjusting audio modes—require EMEET STUDIO for an enhanced experience.

What is the maximum number of devices supported for multi-device collaboration, and what are the configuration requirements?

The number of devices that can be used simultaneously for multi-device collaboration depends on your computer’s specifications and software environment. If you need to connect multiple devices with 4K resolution output, we recommend avoiding the use of a single USB hub. Instead, connect the devices to different USB ports on your computer (e.g., front and back ports, or ports on opposite sides). EMEET STUDIO supports connecting up to four devices at the same time.

What are the focus modes available, and in what scenarios should each be used?

EMEET PIXY provides the following focus modes:

1.Face Focus: Automatically detects and focuses on faces, ensuring clear facial details even in multi-person scenes. This mode helps save time by eliminating the need for manual adjustments and is ideal for personal live streaming.

2.Center Focus: Keeps the focus fixed in the center of the frame. Simply place the subject in the center during shooting to maintain clear image details. This mode is suitable for general-purpose scenarios.

3.Custom Area Focus: Allows users to freely select the focus area based on creative intent, offering precise control over the focal point of the image.

What scenarios is Pixy suitable for?

It is suitable for non-directional scenarios, as well as live streaming, meetings, and education/training settings.

How long is the USB cable?

1.5 meters

Amazing quality and features

Just received this the other day, and same day used if for a teams meeting*The visual fidelity is amazing. The quality, even with the compression used by meeting apps is great. The tracking works great, just moving around to grab something, the camera almost instantly follows and maintains focus very well.*Mic audio does sound very good, did not make any changes in the Emeet Studio software, but did not seem to need to. There was a desk fan running to the side, and the noise cancelation seemed to work without any tweaking, pretty well.*The hardware itself feels very solid, and the motion from the motors for the movement is buttery smooth.*I did not have a chance to test out the whiteboard feature, not something I will likely use. Given the quality of the ability to track and the image quality, I have no doubt it works well. For what I will use it for, and what I tested with the camera, it is great.I am super happy with this. I may update this with some examples via video/audio examples. But either way, for what this costs, of this, the function and quality is amazingHighly recommend this to anyone for both personal and professional uses.

A great entry level ptz webcam

This is a great entry level ptz webcam and a good way to see if the category is right for you. But compared to more expensive options, there are some drawbacks. The good: image quality is very good. Emeet does a good job of getting solid image quality out of their sensors. I don't know if that's thanks to the "AI" processing and the second camera lens but I'm impressed with how clear the image is even in low light. There's noise in low light but the colors, contrast, and sharpening all make for a pleasing image in spite of the noise. Tracking works but it lost me in low light conditions way more than competing (albeit more expensive) tracking ptz webcams. In good lighting conditions though it worked well enough I'd be happy to use it.The camera is small which is nice since the monitor mount isn't the sturdiest. But the tripod mount should give you better options for mounting this than just the top of your monitor so that's good.I didn't test the mics - I always use a headset mic for audio quality. In a pinch, they'd be fine but if you're doing any sort of significant tracking where you're walking or moving around a lot, you'll want a mic that stays closer to your mouth.Overall this is a great webcam and a good way to see if a tracking PTZ webcam will benefit you. If you need the best tracking though for lots of movement - I'd consider a more expensive option. But for less intense movement, I think you'll be pleased by this. I know I am

Fantastic high quality cam for meetings and streaming (with live tracking) and finger gestures

I originally purchased the Elgato Facecam (original version) back when I needed to do multiple live meetings from my home office and while it was good, I hated that I had to zoom in so much to effectively crop, that it pixelated the image, especially in less-than-ideal lighting. I upgraded to the OBSBOT Meet 2 and have been more than happy with it. At the time, I almost picked up the Insta360 and the OBSBot Tiny 2 to try the tracking feature and to have a second camera for a second view while streaming, but opted to just stay with the Meet2. Fast forward to the opportunity to try out the new EMEET Pixy and boy am I glad I did.Quality build with solid optics. Software is on-par with what came with the OBSBot. Finger gestures, live tracking, 4k and 1080P (the latter is all I'll use since it's 60FPS vs the 4k 30FPS). The switch of lenses means you aren't getting digital cropping. Yeah! Good stuff. Solid recommendation.

Fantastic hardware, software could be improved

I also have the Emeet Piko+ and this one, like it's little brother, have exceptional video quality. It's quality is close to that of the iPhone continuity camera, especially in regards to clean low light video. My main complaint about the Piko+ was that it didn't come with a monitor mount, couldn't stand on it's own, and only came with a cheap desk tripod and had a short screw hole which made it difficult to mount to other 1/4 inch camera mounts without a washer. The PIXY solves all of these problems. Out of the box it comes with a stable base and the camera can manually or automatically be pointed in any direction. But is also comes with an excellent all metal monitor mount that has two opposing tilting points, making it easy to place on a monitor or to add a little bit of height from the desk. The 1/4" tripod socket is also a standard depth so you can mount it nearly anywhere and with any head, even upside down (it can autodetect that and flip the image). I also love the new privacy mode, you just press down on the camera and it goes to sleep and as soon as you open your video software it wakes back up. The AI motion tracking works really well and the noise cancelling is very good. The others in the meeting could tell that my noisy air conditioner was on, unlike my previous mic.No for the cons... Almost all of them are related to the software, which is good because it can still be improved. I think the UI is bulky and a little less than intuitive, probably because it was built for Asian characters and translated to much longer English words. I would love to see it get an overhauled localized design. The camera/software has gesture controls but I can't find any documentation for it, in the manual or in the app as to how it works. So far the only one I've found randomly is that by holding up your hand it will toggle between tracking and standard mode. The zoom controls only work in resolutions under 4k, which make sense because it's only has a digital/crop zoom. But what doesn't make sense is that when zoomed in the tracking mode tries to keep the subject in the whole frame and not the zoomed/crop frame, so it's possible the top of the subjects head could be cut off if the zoom is very tight. Also, while you can preset the initial location, and preset 3 more for a total of 4 location presets, the presets only set the position and none of the other features like tracking mode or zoom or color effect, making it harder to switch settings quickly. Finally there are some other cool gimmicky items that you probably don't need, but are fun or useful enough. It does have audio monitoring, which can save you time to do a quick audio check without launching something like OBS. It also includes an AI script generator. It has a bunch of presets mixed with an open prompt to build video scripts for a variety of platforms and for nearly any topic. The scripts look good, and include recommended shots, content, music, moods, timings, and more... while I'm sure you could build your own LLM prompts to get similar results this does a nice job and requires little effort and no added expense.Overall, I really like it despite the shortcomings of the software, most can be worked around, the hardware has excellent build quality and image quality really shines as well. It has become my primary camera for all my meetings, highly recommended.

Perfect for DnD

Gamechanger for DnD mixed attendance games! Love that I can preset scenes around the table and use the stream deck mobile app to change views via my phone.Only complaint is that we had to use the original cable to update the camera firmware, but once that was all setup we were able to switch to/control everything via our extra long usb c cable + extender (27 ft total)
